CBS Climbs Past Important $50 Threshold

CBS Corporation shares have been on a healthy growth streak since a March 22 close of $45.06.


With Monday’s Closing Bell, the company’s stock is once again above the $50 mark.

In early after-hours trading on Monday, CBS stock sat at $51.35, off 3 cents from its 2% rise to $51.38.

Volume was slightly higher than normal at 3.8 million shares.

CBS carries a 1-year target estimate of $61.81, and there’s renewed talk that a reunification with Viacom is on the way.

Viacom shares are at $29.91 — up 13 cents from Friday’s close.
