CBS Radio boosting new Jeep Grand Cherokee


CBS Radio’s Altitude Group has teamed up with Jeep for a “multisensory” summer experience showcasing the brand’s all-new 2011 Grand Cherokee.  Through a combination of on-air, online and on-site elements, CBS Radio  stations in many of the nation’s top markets will ignite and excite listeners about the now available SUV and explore the vehicle first hand at Fourth of July celebrations across the country.
CBS Radio’s in-house integrated marketing unit, the Altitude Group, created the exclusive content opportunity for the Jeep Grand Cherokee using a number of distribution channels including a combination of its blue chip stations, and their digital assets.
Beginning 6/29, more than three dozen stations will feature vignettes, live reads by station personalities and branded promotional spots; video pre-rolls, streaming commercials and banner ads, as well as contests and photo galleries to drive listeners to events timed to honor the 4th of July holiday.  Depending on location, the on-site Jeep experience will include a vehicle showcase, Wii games, rock climbing walls, music, and prize giveaways for the estimated audience of nearly eight million celebrants.  Those who register either on-site or at will be eligible to win a 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee of their own.
