CBS sweeps Thursday

CBSCBS swept Thursday in viewers, adults 18-49 and adults 25-54 as all of the Network’s series posted week-to-week growth in adults 18-49, according to Nielsen preliminary live plus same day ratings for Dec. 13.


Note:  The CBS affiliate in Cincinnati carried last night’s NFL game.  Ratings are subject to change.

THE BIG BANG THEORY swept its time period, finishing first in households (10.2/17), viewers (16.77m), adults 25-54 (6.7/18), adults 18-49 (5.4/17) and adults 18-34 (3.9/14).  If the ratings hold, THE BIG BANG THEORY was the night’s #1 program in households, viewers, adults 25-54, adults 18-49 and adults 18-34.   Compared to last week, THE BIG BANG THEORY was up +4% in adults 18-49 (from 3.4/12) and +15% in adults 18-34 (from 3.4/12).

TWO AND A HALF MEN was first in households (8.3/13), viewers (13.56m), adults 25-54 (5.3/13), adults 18-49 (4.2/12) and adults 18-34 (2.9/10).  Compared to last week, TWO AND A HALF MEN was up +5% in adults 18-49 (from 4.0/11), +16% in adults 18-34 (from 2.5/08), even in adults 25-54 and added +60,000 viewers (from 13.50m).

PERSON OF INTEREST was first in households (8.8/14), viewers (14.25m) and adults 25-54 (4.1/10), and was second in adults 18-49 (3.0/08, -0.1 behind ABC).  Compared to last week, PERSON OF INTEREST was up +1% in households (from 8.7/13), +3% in adults 18-49 (from 2.9/08) and added +70,000 viewers (from 14.25m).

ELEMENTARY was first in households (6.9/11), viewers (10.63m) and adults 25-54 (3.2/08), and was second in adults 18-49 (2.3/06).  Compared to last week, ELEMENTARY was up +3% in households (from 6.7/11), +7% in adults 25-54 (from 3.0/07), +10% in adults 18-49 (from 2.1/06) and added +320,000 viewers (from 10.31m, +3%).

For the night, CBS was first in households (8.3/13), viewers (13.35m), adults 25-54 (4.5/11) and adults 18-49 (3.4/10).  Compared to last week, CBS was up +1% in viewers and +6% in adults 18-49.
