CC Radio renews with FOX News

Clear Channel Radio and FOX News announced FOX News Radio will continue to the primary national news service for more than 100 of Clear Channel’s news/talk stations for another five years. The highly successful relationship spans many of Clear Channel Radio’s most prominent news/talk stations, including those in Los Angeles, San Diego, Phoenix and Atlanta.

“As we approach the fifth anniversary of FOX News’ launch on 100 of our stations, it’s clear this is one of the most successful branding relationships in all of media,” said John Hogan, president and chief executive officer of Clear Channel Radio. “We continue to expand this relationship with our news/talk stations because the quality of the FOX News product continues to be outstanding.”

FOX’s full-service, general-interest news offering features FOX News’ top talent and includes a five-minute top-of-the-hour newscast, a nightly signature news broadcast, and 24/7 dedicated national news coverage. Also under the agreement, FOX News Radio will continue to have access to news produced by Clear Channel’s more than 500 local news journalists via the company’s Clear Channel News Network.

Kevin Magee, Executive Vice President of FOX News Radio added, “Our original relationship helped propel FOX News to be a preeminent player in the radio industry. We look forward to continuing this highly successful affiliation with Clear Channel Radio.”

Clear Channel Radio news/talk stations continue to get national news feeds from a variety of providers.
