Chicago AM launches Progressive Talk network

Today, Chicago’s Progressive Talk radio listeners are getting three new FM stations to choose from.  All of the progressive talk radio programs currently heard on WCPT (820-AM) will be simulcast on three FM frequencies throughout Northern Illinois, Southern Wisconsin and Northwest Indiana. With these changes, the Chicagoland area will now have progressive talk starting each day at 5:00 am on the three FM stations (92.5-FM, 92.7-FM and 99.9-FM) and from sunrise until sunset on 820-AM.  The "Dance Factory" program will continue to air at 9:00 pm (8:00 pm Saturdays) on the three FM stations.


The new weekday line-up on 92.5-FM (Western Suburbs, Rockford and Southwest Wisconsin), 92.7-FM (Northern Suburbs and Southeast Wisconsin), 99.9-FM (Southern Suburbs and Northwest Indiana) and 820-AM (from sunrise until sunset) will be:

5:00 am – 8:00 am – The Bill Press Show
8:00 am – 11:00 am – The Stephanie Miller Show
11:00 am – 2:00 pm – The Ed Schultz Show
2:00 pm – 5:00 pm – The Thom Hartmann Show
5:00 pm – 8:00 pm – The Rachel Maddow Show
8:00 pm – 9:00 pm – The Ron Reagan Show
9:00 pm – 5:00 am – Dance Factory
