Chio returns to Philly

mix 106.1CCME Philadelphia’s Mix 106.1 (WISX-FM) announced the return of “Chio In The Morning,” beginning 5/1.  Chio, along with co-host Nicole, will host weekday mornings from 6-9:00 a.m. The show will include music from the 90’s to now, entertainment news, fun topics and Chio’s signature “War of the Roses.”


Chio spent many years hosting the morning show at sister station Q102 (WIOQ) as well as Beasley’s WRDW in Philadelphia and several stations in San Diego.  Chio has awarded over $110,000 dollars to needy families in the Delaware Valley through his charitable foundation, “Chio’s Christmas Wish.”  He has been a Big Brother with Big Brothers and Sisters of Camden, New Jersey

Chio left Beasley’s Wired 96.5 WRDW-FM Philadelphia in late 2012.  He was a member of the “Chio, Shila and Tingle in the Morning Show,” which airs from 6:00 – 10:00 a.m. each weekday morning.  Chio first made his fame at Beasley’s Power 96.5 in Miami.
