Citadel Broadcasting, Emmis Communications and Clear Channel Communications have signed with Media Monitors for its Audience Reaction service. The combination of instant listener reaction captured via PPM technology with Media Monitors’ airplay info gives minute-by-minute graphical representation of programming decisions. With Audience Reaction, subscribers can retrieve what was played on the air in the traditional log format, instantly spot peaks and dips in ratings and see migration of the panelists.
Citadel will hone their programming intelligence at WABC, along with sister station WPLJ-FM in New York, KABC-AM and KLOS-FM in Los Angeles’, and WLS-AM and WLS-FM in Chicago.
Emmis will be analyzing their programming data from Arbitron’s PPM with Audience Reaction in Los Angeles, New York, and Chicago.
Clear Channel has expanded the role Media Monitors will play in their renowned group of stations. PDs in the top Clear Channel markets will be able to tap into the strategic market information Audience Reaction provides.
