Citadel reels one back in

Oklahoma City has grown, according to Arbitron and BIAfn, to the extent that the total number of radio stations there will support a top-drawer eight-station superduopoly, with a maximum of five stations in either service. That will allow Citadel Broadcasting Company to pull KKWD-FM out of a trusteeship with the Last Bastion Station Trust and back into the O&O fold, becoming the fifth FM along with a pair of AMs. The other Citadel stations in the market include KATT-FM, WWLS-FM, KYIS-FM, KQOB-FM, WWLS-AM & WKY-AM.
