New York Magazine immediately declared that he had “gone to the dark side” as Fox News Channel (FNC) announced that it had hired Howard Wolfson as a contributor. Wolfson was previously Co-Chief Strategist and Communications Director for the presidential campaign of Sen. Hillary Clinton (D-NY).

“Howard was part of the inner working circle of Senator Clinton’s campaign and has a unique perspective on just how unconventional this election year already is. He has proven himself on key campaigns throughout the last decade and is recognized as one of the top communications and political thinkers in the Democratic Party. We look forward to benefiting from his insight during the general election campaign and beyond,” said John Moody, Executive Vice President of News Editorial at FNC.

In addition to his contributor position with FNC, Wolfson will resume his role as a partner in the Glover Park Group, a strategic communications firm where he has worked since 2002. There, he focuses on integrated campaigns as well as political advertising and communications and crisis management.
