CMT, Faith Time partner for religious programming, ad block

Country Music Television, in partnership with Faith Time Inc., announced the formation of Faith Time, a religious programming block. Beginning 9/1, Faith Time will be viewable seven days a week from 4:30 a.m.-6:00 a.m. ET.


Faith Time, a media buying agency dedicated to promoting the religious sector, will begin airing religious and humanitarian shows on CMT. The exclusive partnership allows for a low pricing policy that will help emerging ministries and churches establish a national television presence; CMT garnishes a built-in audience of more than 88 million households. The CMT Faith Time Block will present religious and humanitarian shows to a loyal and engaged audience.

“CMT negotiated an impressive deal with Faith Time. This will allow churches, nonprofit business, and charities in the religious sector to relay their messages through one of the strongest media venues out there, television, at an excellent price point,” said Kevin Cortez of Faith Time. CMT is also offering advertising spots during the day to promote the Faith Time programming block while Faith Time Inc. will manage off-air promotions including direct mail, live phone operators and IVR that can handle large volumes of calls during telecasts and promotions. This is an opportunity to spread hope to the world. At half the price of comparable networks, CMT’s Faith Time block will quickly become an anchor for the early morning line up.”
