Comcast buys all of FEARnet


FearnetComcast has bought out its partners in the JV–Sony Pictures Entertainment and Lionsgate Entertainment—to take 100% ownership of the thriller, suspense and horror-themed network. Following the transaction, which closed 4/15, FEARnet will no longer be a standalone brand but will be folded into Comcast’s NBCUniversal Cable Entertainment division.
