Connoisseur Signs Consent Decree To Resolve Online Political File Snag

Rules requiring broadcast stations to maintain public files documenting requests for political advertising time were enacted more than 80 years ago by the FCC, and since 2002 have involved the uploading of all political files to the Commission’s website.


For 20 years, not every licensee has followed these rules, resulting in Consent Decrees for many. Add Connoisseur Media, led by Jeff Warshaw, to the list of operators settling a political file filing snafu with the signing of a decree.
