Conservative group targets Democratic reps

The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee has a huge cash-on-hand lead over the National Republican Congressional Committee, but at least one national interest group is preparing to extend NRCC a helping hand. The Family Research Council Action PAC is going to raise $500K to attack Democratics in 20 Congressional Districts.

“FRC Action PAC has spent many months researching those races we see as vulnerable and that will have pro-life, pro-family candidates to fill the void,” said Connie Mackey, President of FRC Action PAC.

So according to FRC research, the following candidates are in districts that figure to achieve lucrative battleground status. And by lucrative, we mean lucrative for the local advertising-supported media.

And the candidates under attack are:

Ann Kirkpatrick (AZ-1st)

Gabriel Giffords (AZ-2nd)

Betsy Markey (CO-4th)

Ron Klein (FL-22nd)

Walt Minnick (ID-1st)

Baron Hill (IN-9th)

Alice Titus (NV-3rd)

Carol Shea Porter (NH-1st)

Earl Pomeroy (ND-AL)

Steve Driehaus (OH-1st)

Mary Jo Kilroy (OH-15th)

John Boccieri (OH-16th)

Kathy Dahlkemper (PA-3rd)

Chris Carney (PA-10th)

Paul Kanjorski (PA-11th)

John Spratt (SC-5th)

Ciro Rodriguez (TX-23rd)

Glen Nye (VA-2nd)

Tom Perriello (VA-5th)

Alan Mollohan (WV-1st)
