UPDATE: Calif. Radio Owner In Omaha Recovering From Coronavirus

SANTA CLARITA, CALIF. — After 12 days of a mandatory quarantine aboard Princess Cruises’ Diamond Princess luxury cruise liner, the owners of an AM radio station with an FM translator offering hyperlocal programming to Los Angeles County communities including Valencia and Newhall were back in the Golden State on Monday.

However, it is now known that one of the two owners developed Coronavirus symptoms while in flight, and is now recovering in an Omaha hospital. His wife is at the hospital in a different wing.

Consider them lucky: the wife of travel companions in an adjacent cruise ship room tested positive for Coronavirus while on board, and is in Japan feeling better but a bit lost in translation, far from home and her husband, now in California.
