Cumulus Ups Little Rock Leader To Statewide RVP Role

Since 2015, he has held the role of Market Manager for Cumulus Media‘s radio stations serving Little Rock.


As of today, he is now Regional VP of all of the company’s Arkansas properties.

Earning the promotion is Keith Liesmann, who retains his role of some seven years while adding oversight of Cumulus’ Fayetteville and Fort Smith, Ark., stations.

The VP/Market Managers for these two Western Arkansas markets will now report to Liesmann.

Cumulus Media’s stations in the Arkansas capital are comprised of Christian Talk KAAY-AM, Top 40 KLAL-FM “[email protected],” Adult Contemporary KURB-FM “B98.5,” News/Talk KARN-FM, R&B and Hip-Hop KIPR-FM “Power 92,” and Sports Talk KARN-AM.

In Fort Smith, Cumulus owns and operates Country KNSH-FM, branded as “NASH FM”; Top 40 KBBQ-FM “102.7 The Vibe”; and Gold-focused Country KOMS-FM.

In the Fayetteville market, Cumulus’ stations are comprised of KYNG-AM “The Ticket 2,” Top 40 KMCK “Power 105.7,” News/Talk KFAY-AM, “NASH”-branded KAMO-FM, Classic Rock KKEG-FM, Alternative KRMW-FM and Sports KQSM-FM “The Ticket 92.1.”

Before taking command of Cumulus/Little Rock, Liesmann served as Market President for iHeartMedia in Springfield, Mo. He has also served as VP/Market Manager for Cumulus Media in Topeka, Kan.

Liesmann reports to Cumulus President of Operations Bob Walker. He said, “Keith is a strategic and focused leader who has done a wonderful job in Little Rock, especially given the challenges all of us have had to overcome in the last two years. We are eager to see the positive impact all of our Arkansas stations will have working together under Keith’s leadership.”
