WASHINGTON, D.C. — Now available to TV journalists in the heart of the Nation’s Capital, one block from the White House: a full-service multimedia center with editing services designed to enable digital, television, radio, and podcast production for associations, businesses and organizations of all sizes.

A partnership of Nahigian Strategies, a full-service strategic communications and public relations firm, and property developer Carr Companies has given birth to Big Whig Media.

Key opportunities for TV professionals include access to a central location for satellite uplink interviews, available for on-demand bookings.

Editing and post-production can also be had at the facility.

Most importantly, it can serve as a Washington Bureau for news organizations that don’t wish to pay for a traditional operation in D.C.

“The media landscape is changing,” said Keith Nahigian, president and co-founder of Big Whig Media. “We’ve seen more streaming services popping up, a higher interest in video-based podcasts, and more independently created shows, yet no dedicated location to meet the needs of the industry.”
