'Dancing With the Stars' dominant #1 in its slot, Fans in love

Building Week to Week and Year to Year, “DWTS: The Results” Finishes a Strong No. 1 in its Hour in Adults 18-34 and All Key Women. Next: ‘Dancing With The Stars’ 8 left, Monday TV Themes, Tues. 5th Eliminated.

Last Tuesday, 10/12/10, “Dancing with the Stars: The Results Show” (9:00-10:00 p.m.) Building on its lead-in and picking up audience throughout its telecast against tough competition, ABC’s “Dancing with the Stars: The Results Show” finished a strong second in its hour among Total Viewers (15.7 million) and Adults 18-49 (3.4/9), while ranking a dominant No. 1 among Adults 18-34 and across all key Women demos (W18-34/W18-49/W25-54).


In addition, the show held big advantages over its unscripted competition in the time period, defeating “The Biggest Loser” (7.3 million and 2.8/7) by 8.4 million viewers and by 21% in Adults 18-49. Reality star Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino was the fourth celebrity eliminated from the dance competition this season.

“DWTS: The Results Show” was up week to week among young adults: AD18-34 (+18% – 2.6/7 vs. 2.2/6) and AD18-49 (+3% – 3.4/9 vs. 3.3/9).
