Here’s some important information for radio and television broadcast companies who have invested in technology designed to bring audio and video streaming to users via a laptop computer or, if they still exist at home or work, a desktop device.

People who use the internet exclusively via a computer are disappearing faster than Oldies stations in a PPM-measured market.

According to just-released data from eMarketer, there will be just 17.9 million desktop/laptop-only internet users in the U.S. in 2017.
