Since 2013, this individual has been the VP/Sales for Entercom Communications‘ Denver station group.

Now, she’ll be shifting to the heart of Mid-America, as SVP/Market Manager for a five-FM, three-AM group of properties under the leadership of Regional President Doug Abernethy.

Once there, this industry pro will taken on duties held until early October by Dave Alpert.

Taking the top role for Entercom/Kansas City, effective Dec. 1, is Roxanne Marati.

In this role, she will oversee WDAF-FM, “106.5 The Wolf”; KWOD-AM, “1660 The Score”; KCSP-AM, “610 Sports Radio”; KMBZ-AM and uniquely programmed KMBZ-FM; KQRC-FM “98.9 The Rock”; KRBZ-FM “ALT 96.5,” and KZPT-FM “99.7 The Point.”

“It has been a pleasure to watch Roxanne grow and deliver results the last seven years as our Vice President of Sales,” Abernethy said of Marati, who was in her previous role since 2013. “She is a dynamic leader and a great fit to lead our collection of assets in Kansas City and I am thrilled to continue to work alongside her in this new chapter in her career.”

Marati added, “I am so grateful for my career and years with Entercom Denver and couldn’t be more excited to lead the Kansas City team. Kansas City has an amazing group of talent along with market-leading brands and portfolio of assets. Entercom is such an innovative, forward-thinking company and I am excited for what the future holds for both the organization as well as the community we serve.”

Marati joined Entercom in 2006, serving in roles including Director of Business Development, Integrated Media and Event Director before her taking on her current duties.
