The permitee and owner of five low-power television station construction permits has opted to sell them instead of moving forward with getting the properties up and running itself.
The result? David Lampel is getting a check from an individual largely known for his role as the head of Edge Spectrum.
Randy Weiss is Co-Executive Chairman of Edge Spectrum, known in the TV industry as a next generation broadcasting spectrum technology company.
Weiss, through licensee name FideliTV, is agreeing to pay $50,000 to Lampel’s Atlas News and Information Services for the following CPs:

For Lampel, who is the 50/50 owner of Atlas News and information Services with wife Claudia Lampel, the transaction, the CPs are being transferred from their licensee “Digital Television LLC.”
A $2,500 deposit has been paid, with the remainder due at closing.
Weiss, who is based in Colleyville, Tex., has partnered with ARK Multicasting on the operation of a host of low-power TV stations licensed to Edge Spectrum. It is assumed that these five CPs will join the Edge Spectrum stable of properties.
