Aug. 6 was a big day for Phillip Falcone‘s HC2 Station Group. The rapidly growing TV station owner has added to its stable again.
The first purchase made on Aug. 6 by HC2 was with Woodland Communications, LLC. Woodland sold its WVTT-CD television station based in Olean, NY to HC2.
HC2 Station Group bought the television stations’ assets for $1,504,197. A $75,000 Escrow Deposit was made with MC Alcamo & Co. which is a NY corporation.
Les Levi is the Chief Operation Officer of HC2. Bill Christian is the president of Woodland Communications.
The other purchase made by HC2 was for the television station WGCE-CD, Rochester, NY.
HC2 bought the station for $1,172,661. A $60,000 Escrow Deposit was also made with MC Alcamo & Co.
Stellar Television, LLC, a Delaware limited liability company, was the previous owner and operator of WGCE-CD before selling the stations’ assets to HC2 Station Group.
Christian is also the president of Stellar Television.
