DirecTV, Media General Make Peace


television-OTADirecTV and Media General reached a retrans agreement.

The deal means there won’t be a blackout of a total of 62 television stations in 40 markets.

Media General posted the news on its television station websites and did not release financial details or terms.

“This fair resolution ensures that we can continue to provide top quality news, sports, entertainment, and other local programming that is most important to you,” stated Media General.
