Disney Turning Down Verizon Ads

ESPNThe reason: Verizon’s slimmed down cable package shunts Disney’s primo ESPN on to a sports-oriented side package. So Disney is shutting down any attempt to market the new service on its own properties.


The service, Custom TV, falls between a full cable service and smaller slimmed-down channel packages introduced thus far.
