Without the tools needed to foment multicultural owners, “we may not have an opportunity to learn, to lead, and to own,” warns Karen Slade, VP/GM of Stevie Wonder-owned KJLH-FM 102.3 in Los Angeles.
Slade made the comments Thursday morning during the FCC Media Bureau symposium on current and future trends in the broadcast radio and TV industries.
