Stock prices staged a broad rally on Monday as finance ministers from the Group of 20 (G20 – the world’s major industrial nations) said they would continue efforts to stimulate the world economy. The Dow Jones Industrial Average shot up 203 points, or 2%, to 10,227 – its highest close in 2009. Most broadcasting stocks were up, although Wall Street beat up on Gray Television after the company reported Q3 results.
The RBR Radio Index was up 1.936, or 1.2%, to 167.444.
The TVBR Television Index was down 0.391, or 0.3%, to 115.365.
