Duke Wright’s Midwest Communications has closed on its acquisition of an intact six-station superduopoly cluster in Sioux Falls SD, according to brokerage firm Kalil and Co. The seller was Barry Drake’s Backyard Broadcasting.
Included in the deal are KELO AM-FM, KRRO-FM, KTWB-FM, KWSN-AM, KSQB-FM & KXQL-FM.
The price was $13.35M cash.
According to Kalil, the acquisition brings the Midwest portfolio up to 47 radio stations.
