Broadcast stocks rode higher along with the rest of the market on Wednesday. The Dow Jones Industrial Average closed above 10,000 for the first time in a year, rising 145 points, or 1.5%, to 10,016. Investors were cheered by strong earnings reports by Intel and JPMorgan Chase – plus, retail sales came in ahead of expectations.
The RBR Radio Index rose 10.186, or 6.5%, to 167.043.
The TVBR Television Index rose 5.887, or 4.7%, to 131.220.
