With fewer assets from which to generate profits, Emmis Communications saw its total net revenue dip by 25.2% in its fiscal second quarter of 2019, which ended August 31.
With the steep dip in operating income and tough comparisons to last year thanks to a $76.7 million gain on asset sales, Emmis swung to a net loss from net income of $70 million.
