‘Remote Work: Strategies and Best Practices’ Focus of Webinar

EmpireStreaming, a sister company to Live365, has announced a free webinar that will explore “the new doors that have been discovered when business doors literally had to close due to COVID-19.”

COVID-19 has affected every aspect of radio, with publicly funded stations hit the hardest. News of layoffs and early retirements is becoming a regular occurrence and while funding and staffing are down, listeners still expect to hear the same great content they have grown accustomed to. Ultimately, this means that the logistics of delivering that content must now be remote for the first time ever.

This sets the stage for “Remote Work: Strategies and Best Practices,” set for Thursday, Oct. 15 at 2pm Eastern. The webinar is featured on Current.org, and features C.J. Railsback of Colorado Public Radio, Russ Loyd of Pittsburgh Community Broadcasting Corporation, Sharon Taylor of Omny Studio, and Justin Ruoff of Live365.

These individuals, EmpireStreaming notes, are experts in the radio, podcasting, and technology space. They’ll share best practices in the ever-increasing remote workplace market.

Radio and podcasting host Rockie Thomas will moderate.

“Remote Work – Strategies and Best Practices” is a free webinar open to everyone, but registration is required. See this page to register.
