Envision Radio Networks’ AppCheck, available to radio stations at no cost, is focused solely on concise app reviews in 15 seconds. AppCheck’s daily review is aimed at the PPM world and lets listeners know about the newest apps on the market and if they’re a hit or a miss. Created by J. Coleman, host and producer, AppCheck is a versatile, fast-paced feature that can be incorporated into any daypart and broadcast multiple times throughout the day.

Covering apps from iPhones and iPads to Androids and Blackberrys, AppCheck equips listeners with the facts they need before they hit download. It’s the first vignette of its kind for radio.

“AppCheck offers programming specifically designed for PPM markets at no cost to affiliates,” said Danno Wolkoff, Envision CEO. “Radio stations can use AppCheck on-air, online and on demand throughout multiple dayparts. Listeners will be informed and entertained with compelling content in a 15 second review.”

“When 14 billion apps have been downloaded in just the last three years, it’s pretty obvious apps have captured the world’s attention in a very big way. But, this is just the beginning,” said AppCheck host J. Coleman. “In the next three years, app downloads are projected to reach 42 billion. If every Smartphone owner uses or downloads an app a day, this is a phenomenon that can’t be ignored.
