ESPN Radio details 2011 football coverage

ESPN Radio has tallied up its entire roster of 2011 NFL and college football coverage, which will include traditional studio shows, championship play-by-play, and on-the-road pre-game shows throughout the season:


NFL & College Football Studio Programming (ET):
Friday
7-9 p.m.: Mike Tirico’s Weekend Blitz — Two separate hours of football, with Tirico previewing college action during the first with topical interviews and opinion, then focusing on the NFL during the second when he is joined by Chris Mortensen and Keyshawn Johnson who will break down every game.
9-10 p.m.: The Fantasy Blitz – This new show, hosted by Freddie Coleman, will utilize ESPN’s fantasy resources to help listeners strategize their weekly lineups.

Saturday
2-4 a.m.: Mike Tirico’s Weekend Blitz (re-air)
4-5 a.m.: The Fantasy Blitz (re-air)
5-6 a.m.: Mike Tirico’s Weekend Blitz (re-air, college-football hour)
8-10 a.m.: SportsCenter Saturday – Co-hosts John Stashower and Adnan Virk emphasize college football in their preview of the weekend’s sporting events.
10 a.m.-noon: College GameDay – Simulcast of ESPN’s Emmy-Award winning college football pre-game show featuring Chris Fowler, Lee Corso, Kirk Herbstreit, Desmond Howard, and Erin Andrews.
Noon-7:30 p.m.: College GameDay on ESPN Radio — Ryen Russillo, Trevor Matich, and Brad Edwards anchor day-long whip-around coverage including live updates, interviews and analysis. The show will originate from the site of Saturday’s biggest games eight times, including September 3 at Dallas for LSU-Oregon, and September 17 at Tallahassee for Florida State-Oklahoma.
7:30 p.m.-midnight: College Football Tonight – Co-hosts Freddie Coleman and Mel Kiper, Jr. review the day’s results and monitor the primetime action.

Sunday
10 a.m.-1 p.m.: Countdown to Kickoff — John Stashower previews the day’s NFL action with contributions from ESPN’s studio analysts and game-site reporters including Chris Mortensen, Tom Jackson, Ed Werder and Sal Paoloantonio
1-7 p.m.: The NFL on ESPN Radio — Freddie Coleman is joined by ESPN NFL analysts Eric Allen, Tim Hasselbeck, and Antonio Pierce throughout the day to breakdown all the action. (Show expands to 8 p.m. at the conclusion of Sunday Night Baseball)
7 p.m.-midnight (at the conclusion of the baseball season) Football Tonight: Co-hosts Chuck Wilson and Amy Lawrence wrap up the football weekend with the best highlights and “sound” while also looking at upcoming action
