The control of two related holding companies for a group of Puerto Rican television stations are being transferred. The companies are S&E Network, licensee of WJPX-TV, San Juan, WKPV-TV, Ponce & WJWN-TV, San Sebastian; and CaribeVision Station Group, licensee of WIRS-TV Yauco. In both cases, sole owner Carlos Barba is making room in the executive suite for his wife Teresa. The complication in this otherwise simplest of transactions is that three of the stations are satellite rebroadcasters of WJPX. The FCC made the Bargas jump through all the hoops – again — that they no doubt had to jump through when the stations initially became satellites. We are happy to report that the FCC has reapproved the arrangement.
