FCC Bids Farewell To ‘Unnecessary’ Cable Operator Rules

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Until today, a cable TV operator was required by FCC regulatory policy to do two things with respect to public access to its current listing of the channels each system delivers to its subscribers.


With a 5-0 vote that saw the newest Commissioner dissent in part, those two requirements became a thing of the past.
