Indications that Portugal is getting through its economic crisis, plus an upbeat “Beige Book” report from the Federal Reserve, gave stocks a boost on Wednesday. The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 84 points, or 0.7%, to 11,755. Broadcasting stocks were mostly higher.
The RBR Radio Index was up 18.172, or 5.3%, to 362.946.
The TVBR Television Index was down 0.971, or 0.4%, to 220.586.
