FOX announced that Dr Pepper, JCPenney and Neutrogena are sponsors of Teen Choice 2008, which airs today (8:00-10:00 PM ET/PT). Hosted by Miley Cyrus, Teen Choice celebrates the hottest teen icons in film, television, music, sports and fashion. The coolest stars will receive coveted Teen Choice surfboard awards in categories such as Choice Male Hottie and Choice Hook-Up.

“Dr Pepper consumers want to get more out of all life’s experiences – and there’s nothing they want more of than the best movies, music and fun moments of the last year,” said Alice Nolan, vice president of media and partnerships for Dr Pepper.  “Dr Pepper is thrilled to be a part of Teen Choice 2008 for the ninth year in a row.”

This year JCPenney expanded on their annual trophy presenter contest and invited teens from across the country to create their own karaoke music video online using their webcams and a few simple online tools at www.rockyourlook.com.  Two winners each received trips to Los Angeles for themselves and two guests to attend Teen Choice 2008 and the post-show VIP party.  The winners also received a makeover from Fabulosity, JCPenney’s new apparel brand designed by Kimora Lee Simmons.

For the ninth year, Neutrogena is the exclusive beauty sponsor for Teen Choice.  As a company committed to teens, this is an incredibly important initiative for the brand.  In this year’s show, Neutrogena is sponsoring the “Choice TV: Fresh Face Award,” which represents teens’ top pick for their favorite breakout female TV star.  Neutrogena brand ambassador Vanessa Hudgens will present the award.

In addition, Hudgens invites her fans ages 13 – 24 to enter the Neutrogena Fresh Faces Concert Sweepstakes, an online sweepstakes where five lucky winners and their friends will win a trip to Los Angeles for makeovers, a shopping spree and VIP access to the Neutrogena “Fresh Faces” concert featuring Vanessa Hudgens
