Fox: Ben and Kate jumps 17%

FOXFOX’s special extended primetime lineup of Tuesday comedies and THE X FACTOR ranked #1 among Adults 18-34. NEW GIRL tied The Voice as the highest rated program of the night among Young Adults and was the highest rated program of the night among Women 18-34.

Competition

On ABC, a special Tuesday Dancing With The Stars performance show posted a 2.2/7, up +10% from last week’s results show in the time period (2.0/6), which established a new all-time low for the series. Through ten episodes, DWTS remains off to its worst start ever, down -31% from its average at the same point last fall (2.2/6 vs. 3.2/8). The 12/13 premiere of Happy Endings posted a 1.9/5 at 9pm, delivering its lowest rating ever with a fall original and dropping sharply from its 11/12 season premiere last year (-39% vs. 3.1/8 on 9/28/11). Season two of Don’t Trust The B In Apt 23 premiered with a 1.7/4 at 9:30pm, posting its series low and falling -41% from its series launch last spring (2.9/7 on 4/11/12). At 10pm, Private Practice (1.4/4) matched its series low, down -13% from its most recent telecast (1.6/4 on 10/9/12).

On CBS, NCIS (3.2/9), NCIS: LA (2.7/7), and Vegas (1.5/4) all posted their lowest ratings of the season, down -6%, -10%, and -25%, respectively, from their most recent episodes on 10/9/12. NCIS delivered its lowest rated fall original in over five years (since 9/25/07), and NCIS: LA delivered its lowest rated fall original ever.

On NBC, The Voice (4.1/12) fell -11% from last Tuesday (4.6/13), and through last night is down -29% from its average through the comparable episodes last year (4.4/12 vs. 6.2/16 through its final Battle Round telecast). New comedies Go On (2.5/7) and The New Normal (1.8/4) were down -4% and -10%, respectively, from two weeks ago (2.6/7 and 2.0/5 on 10/9/12), while Parenthood (1.9/5) was down -5% (vs. 2.0/5 on 10/9/12).
