Fox comedies back strong after World Series

Returning from a four-week hiatus, FOX’s Tuesday comedies posted normal post-baseball declines but still won the night among Young Adults and Teens (and came in a close second among Adults 18-49).


GLEE: 2.9/8, down -19% from four weeks ago but ranked #1 among young adults and teens from 8-9pm
In addition, GLEE was the highest rated program of the night overall among Teens.

NEW GIRL: 3.5/9, down -19% from four weeks ago but still won its 9pm half hour in Adults 18-49, Adults 18-34 and Teens
In addition, NEW GIRL was the #1 progam among Adults 18-34 dominated among Women 18-34 (5.3/14)

RAISING HOPE: 2.5/6, down -14% from four weeks ago but is right in line with its fall ratings last season and won its half hour among Adults 18-34 and Teens.                                                   

Competition

On ABC, new comedies Last Man Standing (2.6/8) and Man Up! (1.8/5) each dropped -10% and posted their lowest ratings to date. Dancing with the Stars Results (2.8/7) was up +8% and Body of Proof (2.0/5) gained +11% week-over-week.
 
CBS’ NCIS (3.9/11) fell -5% to tie its season low, while NCIS: Los Angeles (3.4/9) dropped -8%.  At 10pm, new drama Unforgettable (2.3/6) dropped -8% and tied its series low.

NBC’s The Biggest Loser posted a 2.3/6 at 8p, up +15% versus last week but is still off to the franchise’s worst start ever, down -19% from its previous lowest installment through seven telecasts. Parenthood closed out the night with a 2.2/, up 10%.
