Fox notifies Tribune it’s ending its Seattle affiliation


FOX NetworksTribune Media Company has acknowledged that it has been served notice that its affiliation for KCPQ-TV Seattle with Fox Television Network will terminate 1/17/15. However, it also said that nothing is set in stone and talks are ongoing. There are unconfirmed rumors of a station swap.

Tribune stated, “Since 2013, Tribune Media Company and Twenty-First Century Fox have been conducting ongoing discussions regarding Tribune’s Fox affiliation in Seattle, KCPQ.”
