Last night’s THE X FACTOR Top 10 Results show posted a 3.0/8 and grew +26% in its second half hour vs. its first (3.4 vs. 2.7).
THE X FACTOR retained 91% of its Adults 18-49 audience and +94% of its Total Viewers from last Thursday’s telecast. In addition, THE X FACTOR was the highest-rated program of the night among Teens.
At 9pm, BONES posted a 2.8/7 – up +8% from last week – and was the #1 drama of the night in the core adult demo. In addition to outperforming ABC’s Private Practice, CBS’ Person of Interest and the Mentalist, and NBC’s Prime Suspect last night, BONES won its hour among Adults 18-49.
FOX ranked No. 2 last night among Adults 18-49 and No. 1 among Adults 18-34 and Teens.
Competition
Following the ABC News special Regis Philbin: The Morning Maestro (1.5/4), the two-hour fall finale of Private Practice (2.5/7) dropped -10% from last week’s 10pm telecast.
On CBS, Big Bang Theory (5.2/15, down -2%) and Rules Of Engagement (3.6/10, up +3%) were about average. From 9-11pm, Person Of Interest (2.6/7, down -4%) and The Mentalist (2.5/7, down -14%) both tied their season lows.
Following Community (1.6/5, up +7%) and Parks & Recreation (2.0/5, up +11%), NBC’s The Office (2.9/7, down -3%) matched its lowest original rating ever on a Thursday night. At 9:30pm and 10pm Whitney (1.9/5, down -10%) and Prime Suspect (1.1/3, down -15%) delivered their lowest ratings to date (tie for Suspect).
