One of the busiest and most visible media activist organizations, Free Press, will be holding a full day event in Washington DC next month. Scheduled for the Newseum 5/14/09, it will run from 9:30AM-5:00PM. Its goal is “…to put policymaking in the hands of the people — right where it belongs.” Helping them do that will be a citizen in even more of a position to have a say in policymaking – Acting FCC Chair Michael Copps. Obama advisor Susan Crawford will also be on hand.
