A company that used radio and television, among other media, to promise to help consumers get out from under debt burdens – a promise it allegedly had no intention of keeping – has been banned from the industry in a settlement with the Federal Trade Commission.
The FTC had hauled Linden Financial Group LLC into court over the matter.
