Its assets include NPR Member station WFYI-FM and PBS Member station WFYI-20 in Indianapolis.
Soon, it will be adding a low-power TV station to its property collection — thanks to a donation being made by a prolific trader of late in the LPTV arena.
Metropolitan Indianapolis Public Media is set to welcome W29EL-D in Indianapolis, a property formerly licensed to Lima, Ohio.
It’s a donation from Lowcountry 34 Media, the entity led by Jeff Winemiller that has been paring down its LPTV roster in recent weeks.
Serving as Winemiller’s legal counsel in this transaction is Davina Sashkin of BakerHostetler.
MIPM is represented by Matthew McCormick of Fletcher Heald & Hildreth.
A Form 396A filing with the FCC presently awaits approval.
W29EL-D was shown as licensed and silenced as of February 22, 2022 by the FCC.
