FOX won the night among Adults 18-49, Total Viewers, Adults 18-34, Adults 25-54 (tie) and Teens (tie).
Competition
ABC’s recently-canceled Charlie’s Angels (1.2/4, down -8%) matched its series low at 8p. Grey’s Anatomy (3.5/9, down -3%) and Private Practice (2.4/6, up +4%) were in line with their recent performances from 9-11p, but have both started the 11/12 season with significant losses versus their comparable averages last fall (Grey’s Anatomy down -21%, Private Practice down -20%).
Following The Big Bang Theory (4.9/15, up +7%) at 8p, CBS’ Rules of Engagement premiered with a 3.7/10 at 830p, up +19% from its Monday 8:30pm premiere last season on 9/20/10. At 10pm The Mentalist (2.5/7) remained flat and tied as its season low.
NBC aired repeats of Community (0.9/3), Parks & Recreation (1.1/3), The Office (1.5/4), Whitney (1.1/3), and Prime Suspect (0.8/2).
