Since the company sharply cut its dividend in February, Wall Street has been watching closely quarter to quarter to see if Gannett continues to make a dividend payout. The company announced Tuesday that, yes, it will pay a quarterly dividend of four cents per share. The dividend is payable on October 1, 2009 to shareholders of record as of the close of business on September 11, 2009.
