There’s not yet an official announcement from the incoming Obama administration, but the word is out that Julius Genachowski will get the nod to be Chairman of the FCC. He had been considered the front-runner for some time. Genachowski was a Harvard classmate of President-elect Barack Obama and has been advising the transition team on telecom issues.
