RBR-TVBR hears that a lot of the troublesome aspects of the satellite reauthorization bill being voted on in the Senate Commerce Committee this week have been erased in a manager’s amendment, thanks to the timely intervention of pro-broadcasting stakeholders, notably including consumers.
The amendments came from the staffs of Committee leaders Jay Rockefeller (D-WV) and John Thune (R-SD).
