Gray’s Good News Notice: No Furloughs, Or Pay Cuts


Like many of its employees, the executive leadership at Gray Television has been watching with concern how the novel coronavirus-fueled public health crisis has forced many companies to take “extraordinary steps” to respond to the changing business environment.

In a reassuring internal e-mail distributed Monday afternoon to all Gray staffers, the company says it intends to do what it did during the Great Recession of 2008-09: avoid any staff reductions or pay cuts.
