After sleeping on it, traders decided that the Fed’s plan to buy $600 billion of Treasuries wasn’t just good – it was great. The bulls ran stock prices up on Thursday. The Dow Jones Industrial Average was up 220 points, or 2%, to 11,435. Broadcasting stocks had an up day.
The RBR Radio Index was up 8.426, or 3.1%, to 284.982.
The TVBR Television Index was up 5.738, or 2.9%, to 206.497.
