In support of the launch of the new Apple iPhone, Greater Media’s New Jersey radio stations WMGQ-FM, WMTR-AM, WDHA-FM and WRAT-FM began making their audio streams available to listeners via the iPhone on Friday.  In addition, the company’s Charlotte stations, WBT and WLNK-FM and Detroit’s WRIF-FM will join in offering this service.

Listeners can navigate to the station’s website via their phone’s Safari application program. There, they will find a “Listen Live” link, and other station features.

“This is yet another step forward as Greater Media embraces and integrates the latest mobile technology," said Tom Bender, Senior VP/General Manager of Greater Media Interactive.  “We are determined to make our stations available in all forms of delivery that users are adopting. We will expand this technology to include all Greater Media radio properties in the very near future."
