Paul Crouch’s Trinity Christian Center is grabbing another large market television station, but this time, it’ll have to build it itself. KJPR-DT CP is coming from Richland Reserve LLC. Its Greeley CO city of license is in the Denver-Boulder DMA. Trinity will pay $37.5M for the DIY project. The permit is for Channel 45 and expires 1/10/10. Trinity, known in TV circles for its Trinity Broadcasting Network, recently announced a $16M deal to acquire WSJF-TV Newark, OH from Guardian Enterprise Group. That deal brings the Columbus OH DMA into the portfolio.
